Thanks for the feedback guys. It looks like the screen width is at about 1072 pixels (to the right edge of the forums/pages). I will try to make that at least fit within the 1024 setting which is what a majority of our visitors are using. That said if you can bump your resolution up to 1280 wide I think you'll be much happier.
Problem is that some laptops (like Camogirl's) only have a maximum res of 1024x768

I didn't do a forced reset, (not that I'm aware of) and I'm seeing the links in blue again.
I do notice that my banner is 'left' justified vs. used to be 'right' justified. I noticed that several other folks are still 'right' justified. Do I need to add something to my sig block? (besides a new banner?)
Can't say that the changes are noticeable other than that, and in IT that's usually a good thing.

Ok, despite being young im completely hopeless with computers, but for me the layout is totaly messed up. Im using google chrome and the armorama page is all over the place, for some reason the forum box is right at the bottom, non of the tabs (gallery, forum, reviews etc) appear at all, well they do, but as a list of links at the top, not as actual tabs. Theres lines all over the background as well. Dont know whats going on, anyone one else use google chrome and have this problem?

Rob, did you try to do a force refresh of your browser (CTRL + F5)?

How are you getting the screen caps into posts?
I'm getting some wonkyness on Aeroscale.
The Aeroscale banner is full width (extends from left ads to right ads with no gaps or overlaps)
the thread banner is about an inch narrowr than the Aeroscale banner (ends at the S in "ACTIONS")
Some threads extend as wide as the Aeroscale banner, others are about 2" narrower.
The bottom reply banner (reply, new topic, add photos..) is 2-3 inches narrower than the Aeroscal banner.
The footer banner is the same width has the Aeroscale banner.

Mark,
Yup the whole network is now in wonky mode while I try to adjust the overall widths of the pages. The goal being a width no greater than 1024 pixels from the left side to the right side of the main page.
For the time being it will remain the way it is. Sadly the Twilight community my wife is a part of is having a server crisis of their own (it's been down since last Wed) and much of my time recently has been spent trying to get that server back up. So once that is done I can get back to tweaking KitMaker.
Thanks,
Jim

Having problems posting a new topic or blog using Firefox, as adverts sometimes cover the yes (ready to reply) button or the yes button, if visible between the adverts, does not funcion.
Any thing I need to do as I cannot use Internet Explorer because it takes too long and often times out.
Hope this lets me post.

Again this is sounding like a cached file issue as I am having no problems with the site in IE, Firefox or Chrome.
However I did see (in Chrome and Firefox) that the "YES" (add reply) button does not have a 'hand' hover state when you hover over it to click. It DOES still click and work though.
If you are seeing ads or other problems....
1. Try clearing out cache files. Force refresh the browser (look up instructions for your browser, ec).
2. Post your issue here with a screen shot if possible. Please include the browser type, version AND the operating system type and version.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim
This is the issue I'm having with the sites at the moment. When I view a feature or post a reply I get an overlap of adverts or images on the right hand side.
I think this is the issue that Mark (md72) was talking about
I've cleared the cache, forced a refresh and even disabled all add-on or extensions but still get the same.
I'm running Mozilla Firefox (version 3.6) on Microsoft Windows 7 Pro (fully updated) and running at a resolution of 1280x1024.
Cheers

Jim,
Not sure if it's related to your rebuild, but the last couple of days I've noticed that Armorama occasionally forces me to sign in again when checking my inbox or posting a reply on a forum thread, even though I'm already signed in according to the banner. It only happens occasionally (most of the time the buttons do as advertised) but thought I'd mention it. I'm running IE8 on Windows 7.

I too am having severe problems with the google add bar down the right hand side. When I try to pot a completely new topic (which has a large box that the 'post a reply' option) the good add bar actually blocks the 'post topic' button, which means I'm unable to start any new threads.

I'm using Safari 4.0.5 and I'm having the same problem that Rob described.
Thanks!

Hi guys,
I have made some fixes (which may or may not appear depending on how your browser checks updated files), but I will try to make a major change to the loading of the main stylesheet so that each day it has to load anew (once). This should fix this issue for good.
I have tested the site in IE (8.0), Firefox (3.6), Chrome, and Safari (for Windows) and the posting page problem is fixed. If you are using older version of IE or Firefox I haven't tested those obviously and sorry I don't own a Mac so troubleshooting those issues is a bit problematic.
Allen the issue with content photos is actually a data entry problem as I have told editors for many moons now NOT to make any full-sized images placed on the page larger than 600 pixels or so and definitely not to do both left and right columns for photos/text and photos if they do. These pages will have to be manually adjusted or fixed through some other stylesheet trick.
Thanks,
Jim

Also many of you having that issue have obviously figured out the trick to post with the button hidden, but for those who may be reading this.
1. Enter your post.
2. Click off the post area (like on the yellow bar)
3. Hit the ENTER key on your keyboard.
Cheers,

Thanks for the tip, Jim!
Actually, I haven't created a new topic since you implemented the changes, so I haven't had any problems. And, other than the new topic page, I haven't noticed any issues using Safari on a Mac.
Thanks for such a great site!

I have updated the location of the css stylesheets which should force all visitors to get the new info. If you are still seeing the issue with the ads covering the "YES" button please let me know.
Thanks,

Sorry I was being a bit daft. I had fixed the "reply" page but not the "new topic" page. Both should be working without issue now.

I'm having trouble getting to Armorama any more. I have to go to Aeroscale and work my way in from there. When I type in Armorama.com and hit enter I get this message.
