Well trying to tie up some loose ends on the Tamiya Lee.

I should of added the sponson fillers my bad on that but the AFV Club tracks did it good I think.

The kit not to bad if not counting all the rivets.

A little modulation Mig style I think.

Looks great Jeff! I see you made quite a few modnitications, especially the back. Do you have any pics before paint? Did you also replace the road wheels? Can't tell from the pics.

One of the main issues of the kit is the curve on the turret. I have one of these in the stash and will convert it to an M31 some day...

Cheers!

Thanks I did no modifying to the turret well a little added the three things on the sides bumps but nothing else to it.

I did the Academy one last year so I wanted to see the big difference.

Easy way is to get the Legends turret and use it instead.

I did change both barrels for metal ones from the Barrel depot.

Cost more then the kit.

Wheels are Dragon or Academy ones I cannot remember.

Going to be on this base

Well as to pics I have 3 I found I guess never took any as an Old Tamiya kit and well you know everybody wants all the rivets dress right dress.

So do not think I bothered.

I think some of the older Tamiya kits still hold there own with some PE and a little modifying or scratch building especially the tracks.

Especially their Panzer II ,M8, Stuart, M-20, M-8.

Cheers
Jeff

Jeff, way to dress up an old dog! Looks great. Just goes to show that even an old kit like Tamiya's Lee can turn out looking good with a little TLC!
