Very nice T62, and a wreck at that, right up my alley. I like what you've done with the fenders and the roadwheels, very convincing.
I'm looking forward to seeing the painting of the model. Keep up the good work. I will be following this thread for sure.

Hi Damian
Was wondering if any progress was made on this project of yours. I'm working on a T69 wreck but the next model may be the T62. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Was wondering what happened to this build.I was looking forward to seeing how you finished it off. I'm still working on my T-69, and also a interior for the wrecked T-62.
How about some finished pics of this model, please.

Hey Fellas.
HUGE apologies are in order.
Firstly, il explain why ive been away from my favorite of all hobbies.
Im pretty young, infact im only 23. Last year about this time, i got offered a job in Sydney, Australia, after finished my degree. Which i took, and have been at since. So everything i was doing back home in Adelaide, got dropped....
The T-62, went inside an acrylic box. Where it has remained to this day. Waiting for me....
It taken me about 12 months to get my new life organised, finding an apartment, buying a car....working ><
So, I'm somewhat settled down now.... about two week ago, i walked past a Hobby Shop, and couldn't help myself.
Because i live in an apartment. I had to invest in some new tools. Got myself a new Iwata Smart Jet pro.
So rest assured, i will get my T-62 shipped over to Sydney, together with my 40-50 other kits and i promise i will get this baby done.
I also do feel as thought i do owe you guys something.
So....fear not. Its coming.
CHEERS!!

Damian, that's exactly the kind of answer I was looking for, thanks very much.
One wonders why something as simple as road wheels would be so complicated.....
I suspect (but of course i'm not sure about) that Trumpeter has made an improved copy of the same suspesion arms provied by the Tamiya T-55 kit...in fact The Japanese kit has some small rubber tubes that you have to insert on the joints to tighten up the wheels. Trumpeter kit doesn't have these tubes, so your wheels in the end are loose
