this is the trumpeter m1a1 w/ mine roller pretty much OOB with a few bits of brass wire , evergreen plastic strips and a few other odd and ends . The roller is a kit in it self it takes up a whole spure . i still need to sand off a few seams , add decals ,weather , ect.

Toadster
What's the large squarish extension piece on the back end, some sort of counterweight for the mine clearing device or something else?
Thanks
Steve

Hey Turret ,
Looks like a pretty good build so far. There sould be a little sag in the cables attached from the hull to the topof the rollers though if I'm not mistaken. There is usually a little slack need for rough ground.
Also, is there normally an anti-skid coating put on the upper surfaces of the vehicle? I tape off the edges and apply a thinned coat of white glue, and sprinkle on a little baking powder. It is right in scale and weathers very nicely.
Again ,looking good ,and looking forward to seeing her done.

Lord Toad,
Nice clean build, looked great so far, I have the same kit, but I was too chicken to do the mine roller.
it's great to see a tanker to put money where his mouth is and do a tank (assuming it's the one you are driving around).
It will be a great campaign idea for each tanker in this site do a tank of their own with right numbers and such, should be fun to see.
Good work, can't wait to see it finished.
