Yvan, I really like this! And your figures are wonderful! The especially like the way you've painted the Garands. Any chance you'll ever work up a step-by-step of your figure painting process? What do you use to hold the figures while painting? Looks like some sort of cork bottle top?

Hi Yvan. Love the base, but the figures really are stunning. I like that you used two different greens for their clothes.

Well you know I do not consider myself go enough to provide guidelines on figures painting, I'm just trying to reproduce the best I can the shadows / highlights logic
Honnestly, it took me about 20 figures and some months before reaching an acceptable result
Yes, the bases are cork bottle top from ( good ) whisky
I pierce the heels or the knees, then insert a metal wire that will be used to fix the figures onto the dio too

Base color for the kneeling one is US Dark Green 893, highlights with Gunship Green 895 then Pastel Green 885, shadows with Black Green 980 and then Black Grey 862

But it is a bit greenish more than khaki. Can you pm me what colours you used for panths, ammo pouches, rifle, shoes and highlights and shadows. Thank you very much.
