Nice!
One question, wouldn't the windows have broken as soon as the first round was fired?
I've seen what happens when a 155mm howitzer fires in the vicinity of an soft skinned vehicle... not a pretty sight!

Hi Yvan,
I told you already how well you did with the building.
Donoavan has the point, but i confess, i have myself this kind of dilema with Clervaux and respect not always the rule of the broken windows.
Cheers
Claude

Tks Donovan and Claude
Agree, I must admit I totaly overlooked this balst effect on the windows
anyhow, considering the gun length, I'm not sure it would affect them ?

Don't worry about it!
It was more of a question than a comment really
It's still a beautiful piece of work!

I really admire all the individual elements in this dio. However, my only doubt is the space - adding in the M4 is going, IMO, to make it very 'compressed'.
Looking forward to see all the elements in place!

Tks Jim !
that's right, space will be restricted after adding the Jumbo, but I've a hard limitation when building a dio : it must fit into the showcase, so max 25cm x 35cm including the frame !

Thank you both
These are Dragon figures ( US tank crew NWE 1944-45 ) with ADV Azimut resin heads
the carpet meadow is from Mininatur, as well as the short tufts, and the weeds are made from oakum
painted then in various green to yellow-green tones with Tamiya and Vallejo paints

Hi There - What is "oakum?" Love the details on the building - really awesome weathering effects. i also love the grass - I like the flowers too but do you thnk they are too nice looking for the yard? the yard looks kind of ofrgotten and the flowers look fresh and like they get regular water. maybe you could dirty them up a bit or make them look kind of dried out? Just a thought - I really like it alot. How long have you been working on this?

You're right about the "too clean" grass around the gun, I'll maybe amend that a bit, it's not finished anyhow
That looks fresh anyhow because it's spring time
I don't know exactly how long I spent on this, I started to work on the Jumbo around Xmas, then the Pak43 in Feb, now the dio since mid of Mar and finaly expect to complete all figures for Saumur show in May
but I'm working on it only a couple of hours a week, say around 10h

A littl bit of space and a lot of action, Looks cool. Just one point though, I'd fix the T.C.'s right eye, looks cross eyed from your pics. I like the compressed look too.

Nice work you've done here. I like your paint job on the figures.[I must agree however, your tankers do look alittle cross eyed ] Keep up the good work!
