Looks nice - but will it be less than 50 quid round these parts?

As a German WWII armor fan I normally wouldn't get this. Recently I picked up my first Sherman kit (The Tasca M4A1) and am thinking that this will look great alongside it.
I will definitely be picking one up!

Quoted TextAny chance/news that DML will do a late model like the ones used post-WWII?
Why would they? For them, this is a 'major' development which they won't take any further. One size (as far as Allied) which fits all
Now, it this had been an announcemnt by Tasca, we WOULD have got the later version.
In fairness, this is the best possible variant possible. Don't though, expect any more variants.
Thank God for companies like Formations!
While I'm not sure that there will be follow-ons this is type seen through out the war, and with minor modification can be changed into others. I would also say, with repect, that Dragon has done a far better job with some allied subjects than some other companies, after all we have a plethora of Shermans now and a bunch of American Halftracks (though I am probably waiting in vain for the M-15!) After all, Academy was supposed to have all the Stuarts in its pipeline, as well as a cast hull Lee (I have a personal reason for this, my Dad took some photos of a parade in NYC in 1942, and he has a shot of an M3A1 (cast hull)) and while AFV has made an M3A3 and an M5, we still are waiting for an M8 HMC to replace the ancient Tamiya offering. And I would love to see an expansion of the AFV Churchill line, so many variants!
Also, yes, a Dragon M-10 or M-36 would be cool, but I would also (and probably more) love to see a Dragon Crusader series, or a Dragon Grant and Lee. Okay, I know that I'm straying from the subject with the Crusader (getting into wishlist land) but I would love a more accurate Lee or Grant!

Well said John! Dragon has done a nice job with thier Allied Subjects, I would like to see more M10, M36, M32, M24, M3 Lee and M3 Light tanks would all be welcome additions to the Dragon line for me, as well as some British subjects, Valentine's, Cursaders, would all be welcome to me I just don't see it happening any time soon. I know other manufactures are working on some of these items and some do it better and some fall short of Dragons standards but if it's not Dragon or Tamiya they don't tend to get stocked at my local hobby shops and if they do they tend to be more expensive.
I wonder what the second Allied Kit they are to announce is (Please let it be an M24).
