Yup, you're right - I saw it too.

That member has been banned. This has been happening very often on my other MSN site (as I don't really moderate it). And those postings are ussually porn related. I am actually surprised this is just starting on Armorama's board.

I would ask that all the MSN admin users keep an eye on this situation. Also this is probably a good reason NOT to set up your account there to send you all posted messages.

Yep,got that one and more,how to enlarge the size of your tackle,that was a good one,just as well the other half is computer litarate and knows what spamming is.

I've deleted at least 4-5 of these types of messages and as many "members". I hit the site about once a week to keep an eye on it. If I get one of those monthy Armorama group messages that tells me what's new and I see something like this, I go straight in and delte it.

I've also banned some off them from MSN ArmoramA and MSN ArmoramA.BR.

Doubtless the hacker/spammers have figured out some way to automate a way to create MSN memberships and spread spam.

Got them here also. Just blocked and deleted them. I get enough of them without more.

Waaaay to easy to do, that's why I never have the messages sent to my mailbox.

I don't need Armorama to get my fair share of spam. We operate a well visited site (7000 individual visitors/day on average) and that brings the most increble mails.
In fact, I started to collect some of those.
We regularly get interesting offers by African (mostly Nigerian) businessmen (!) who claim that sending them our letterhead paper and signature will help them to send huge sums of money to our bank account. I've dozens of those. Just for fun, I copy one here below. The details of the letters are different every time, but the basic idea is the same. If they were true, I would now be the proud owner of about 25 million dollars...

Jan, LOL I just got that second one a couple of days ago. Different names, different countries, but the same wording, same scam.

I guess no one likes me. I haven't gotten anything as far as I know, or maybe I just deleted before reading. THere is so much junk out there. Used to get up and find 35-40 messages on my machne, it's now generally around 10-15. Still too many, but a vast improvment

I must have left my address somewhere in the wrong place, so a few years ago my mailbox got stuffed full with spam. Most were sex related. To be honest, I can enjoy a bit of naughtiness now and then, but these were not the kind of things you'd like your mother or wife to find in your PC.
So I got a new e-mail address. I'm very careful where I leave this address, and since then I didn't get ANY such spam. Getting spam is almost completely triggered by your own behaviour of sharing (or not sharing) your e-mail address on the web.
Be careful out there, fellas.

Believe it or not about 8-9 out of 10 emails I get through Armorama's various accounts are marked as spam by server software I have installed. And it's very good at finding them. Right into the trash bin they go.

I just love reading some of the crap these people put out. I usually reply with a request for them to consume fermented fecal matter and then to expire in a protracted and painful manner.

I sometimes wish I was a super hacker and able to feed the spam networks a viral bomb that would short out everything including the coffee maker and give 'em a super wedgie at the same time. #:-)

Yep, i got it as well, the biker one and the increase your tackle, i get them all the time though, everything from house mortgage (even though im 15) to bondage sites cheers, glad they those 2 will stop

HA!! GF you obviously aren't as cool as I m cuz they offered me 25% of $25,000,000. I sent a reply just to see what happened and who allegedly told them I could be trusted, the guy said his secretary's husband told him about me. Then he started in on banking lingoese and double talk about what he was doing. I laughed my head off. I toyed with the idea of screwing with his head like he walked in on a mafioso or something, but couldn't figure out how to do it right so I just ignored him. It would have been a hoot though.

A colleague of mine has good connections with the federal police, who have a dedicated team working on stuff like that. We always copy them, since we're such a big source on this stuff. Would you believe there are hundreds of versions on this theme ? I have over thirty now. I don't know why I collect them. Maybe I use the story line to write a book some day. When my eyesight gets just a tiny bit worse than this, I have to stop modeling and do other sinister things to fill my nights... Keep watching the bestsellers" list. I'll let you know when I'm done...
