That's an interesting lookin vehicle.. it'll make a really nice kit.

Is this how it is used in Iraq or afghanistan, os is this vehicle also deployed with slat armor?

Keep the pics coming, Gaoyue

Hi Hisham
Take a look at this thread for some battlefield pics (and some 1/35th builds as well) :

Thanks for reminding me of that thread, Frenchy.

I see some of the vehicles in those battlefield pics don't have slat fitted, so it's possible to model one in combat without slat.

Now all this needs is Cory Sutton's ratchet straps and spring clips to make it really sing. Jason Millers continuous tie downs will be needed if Trump insists on the horrible molded on variety and please separate the gas/water cans from the holders.
Great days for Aussie kit!

Nope.. I was wrong, this is the Panther. So, what's that vehicle in my previous post?

Picture for discussion purposes only. I hope it's ok to post it.

Great to hear you'll be doing the IVECO LMV! Looks like the future is looking good for kits of modern vehicles!

But what is that smaller vehicle in my previous post?

I loves the ASLAV PC, i'm hopping that it will be a hot sell.
At least i'll take one for sure (i'm affraid that i'm getting most of HobbyBoss/Trumpeter modern's news).

I'm still dreaming about new Humvee's and T72's series, T80, MK3, french vehicles...
I have no space now but i'll get BMP3, Land Rover and others soon to be release, so works hard in China.

ASLAV-PC nice. Can't have enough LAVs. I hope all the ASLAV versions get done in plastic eventually. Infact, i hope all the Canadian and US LAVs get into plastic too. Design looks good.

The Hawkei is built by Thales Australia. It's Thales's contender for the Australian Department of Defence's LAND 121 Phase 4 program to replace Army Landrovers.

The hawkei is only in prototype phase at the moment and has been shortlisted as a possible prospect for Land121. So it won't be rumbling around Iraq of the Ghan for a few years yet. Land121 is also looking at new medium/heavy tpt vehicles for the ADF and we might just see some new variants of the Bushmaster appearing soon.

GAOYUE!!!

You are making modern armour modellers like me and im sure many others very very happy with some of your latest releases, LAV lll, ASLAV, STRYKER, CHALLENGER. Thank you, thank you, thank you . I shall be at War and Peace this year hunting them down.

One suggestion from a pocket money modeller like myself though, any plans for a Bufallo, Cougar or Mastiff in plastic? Im sure im not the only one who will never be able to afford the excellent but high priced resin versions available at the moment.

Keep up the good work.

Nice work Gaoyue. I'll buy one.

I like the way you have all the MEAO style communications gear but also have the full array of brush guards for lights, smoke dischargers and props so that people can still build a version of the vehicle back home on training in Australia.

One suggestion please cast the water jerry cans (4 x on either side of the upper rear hull) separately so that modelers can decide how to stow them.

Cheers
