Looks good so far! I noticed the filler on the track arms..might want to hit it w/ a sanding stick..I forgot this on my Chally..ugly!
How do you like the "jumbo"set? I'm building the 99B , and interested in it

I've just finished the build on the 99. It's an excellent kit but it has its little issues. This should be interesting to watch although I don't know why you'd want the track set, the kit tracks are perfectly adequate.

David...Thanks for the headsup!!! I ordered up the jumbo set, and started the lower hull. i want to assemble more, but figure the PE set will add much of the details!
I'll get a few pics of mine during the build

nice work on the fuel drum mounts..they look great !!! How were they to build? I have a question..what 's the "box" in the 1st pic? It had the large pe bracket on top.
After looking the the exhaust grilles on yours..I guess I ddin't have to blank mine off.I was concerned w/ them being see thru..

nice work so far Dave!!! I just received my set, and its pretty impressive. I wasn't expecting the amount of PE that replaces the kit parts!!
I was gonna warn ya..the headlights sit too low if you use the PE parts..but noticed you went w/ the kit parts. I had to use the kit "plate", then the brass on top.

Great work on the chains Dave..they turned out better than mine! Its been a lot of fun following along..now that we're building a similar tank! The PE turret basket is tough! I might use the kit one..its really nice.

wow Dave, this is a nice kit your putting together. the small brass can be tough to get right but your efforts are always rewarded (and appreciated here). i may have my next model picked out for me because this subject looks really cool, especially the digital camo version. can't wait to see it when paint hits that great tank.

This build is really coming along- there certainly is a LOT of PE! Nice work with the really small stuff like those chains- they look great.
Have you though about what scheme to paint it?
