Bill,
Nick is referring to the Extinguishing System activation handle in the small rectangular opening on the side of the hull above the skirts.
The handle is normally red, but it can get repainted the color around it by accident(picture from Prime Portal(:
If you REALLY want to kill your eyes, paint the white letters on the end of the handle!
Your Abrams turned out very nice! Even though you ended up correcting various items and removing things, "Bad MoFo" looks quite realistic, especially considering it's one of your first Modern Armor efforts. Well Done!

Really nice work! Heck I didn't know about the handle needing to be red but I haven't done too many modern armor pieces either.

Usually, spare road wheels are held onto the rails using a spare track center guide tooth. One end is sandwiched around the rail, and the other side sandwhiches the road wheel.

VERY, thanks. I think I have a few spare track teeth from the Bronco set. If not, I might be able to adapt the Magic Tracks.
Anyone know what part V30 is for? I can't find it in the sucky instructions (nor do they show where or how to mount the spare road wheels).

I see now why I didn't use it: I have the collapsable rack on the front:
Jesse, the Legend stowage set really makes the kit IMO. The Echelon decals are also a bit finer than the DML (the "lift here" ones on the rear are 1/2 the font thickness as the kit ones).

Hi, Rob, it was the M1A1 AIM kit which I think is one of the best OOB kits I've ever encountered. I made some modifications for USMC service like the smoke grenades and no bustle rack extension, plus the Echelon decals.

Yeah, my package arrived yesteday, so I spent the night going over everything. With the amount of stuff in the legends kit, now I'm tempted to do another one... maybe a M1A2 SEP with the TUSK package.
