Hi All, Here are some pictures of a small scene I used as practice for doing some battle damage...

The tank kit is Dragon's Panther G with zim.

Alot of the details are from my 1/87th railroad stash, had fun with this little project and hope you like it.

Randy

Randy,
Looks cool buddy! I particularly like that you removed the rubber from the roadwheels that caught fire.

Randy,

Very nicely done! Great details, especially for Braille Scale.

This is better than the 1:35 scale Tamiya Panther I built in the late '70s that I added Zimmerit to.

The Panther is great. The base is good, I'd like to see mor dust on it (personal choice).

One thing that strikes me is the big beam. It forced me to think of the timing of the events. Since there is no clear path for the Panther it means that the tank blew up then the beam fell. For me if that's the story line, I'd like to see more evidence of it. Maybe have some rubble on top of the Panther too.
Technique and subject wise a very nice project.

Nice work. The damage is not overdone and the burnt sections and wheels really look nice.

Excellent work Randy! That "Braille Scale" stuff is hard on my eyes but you did a great job on all of the componenets.
Well Done!

Wow that looks great, especially for the scale. The road wheels are nicely done and painted.
The base and groundwork is just right, not too much as to distract from the model.
The only thing I would suggest is that when you do a burnt area on a tank, keep in mind how it was knocked out and how/why it burned. The area you modeled burnt should have been towards the rear of the tank where the fuel tanks are located. Here is a pic of what I mean.

Other than that one small thing i think it looks awesome. Nice job Randy.

I'm sorry guys that I did not notice that I had some more replies to this thread!!

I do appreciate people who take the time to comment and should have replied sooner.

Thanks Dave, I know what you mean about the eyes Almost everything I do in this scale anymore is done with the optivisor!

Hi Rob, Thank you and you make a good point about the fire, will pay more attention to that in the future

Hello Juan, Glad you like it and thanks for the kind words!

Hi Randy. Nice little scene. I think the fire and damage looks believable and realistic ... especially in this scale. It has to be exaggerated slightly to convey the idea, but you managed to keep it controlled. Nice base also.
