Did a little pin wash with black oil then had too use a cotton swab with thinner to wipe it down since iit was a little thick. Next some more future then a pin wash with Raw Umber thinned down much, then future and an overall pin wash and more future then some rust and a flat clear coat.

Great work Bob !

Make sure you don't over do the 'rust'.

Polish AFV's were and are always immaculate, so rust is pretty much a no, no. Except for exhausts .

Bob, The black wash is looking great and the scratch turret is fantastic, the only thing I don't like about your kit and its not your fault are the boogies, they look like the dont belong

@ Sal, thanks for the comment. The kit is rather simple except for those stupid tracks.

Nice effect with the black wash, Bob. It really brings out those rivets.

Looking forward to see more.

Hi everyone!!!

I would like to join the campaign with model of Polish Fokker D.VII/E.V of pilot Julian Jasiński. This machine was used during Polish-soviet war in 1920. The plane was took over by soviet troops after pilot's emergency landing behind the front line and it was used for soviet's propaganda film.

The model is 1:72 scale Roden kit with Part PE set.

So far I've made cockpit:

Man, you guys really rock!!!! Been away for a few and lookie there....

@Jeremy: gogogogooo! Nice one! Just carry on like that and you'll be fine. Want to know all the beginners mistakes, just ask. Make em everyday.
And don't EVER stop having fun while learning. It's a hobby no contest!

@Paul: thanks again for the kind words. I'm going to build the Revell F-15E soon, so if you wanna see a jet build soup to nuts with all the messups in between...

@Piotrek: Jeeezuz, what do you do, man, sleep with that hold-'n-fold under your pillow and binoculars clenched with your eyebrows?
same as
@Radek!!
You really rule the world of etch, huh? Just how do you two not snap and mow down a whole population of little bras clamps and levers and slivers and thingies?
Just awesome, you two!

Got my Centauro started, btw., so if anyone's interested:

Thanks Leo
It's third time I'm using PE and first from Voyager. And in fact I don't use hold'n'fold to bend. I'm using a simple tweezer. But I'm planning to buy hold'n'fold in nearest future.

Radek
Great work with your Fokker, very precise and clean work.

Thanks a lot guys!!!

This is my first so complex PE set. I used some styrene strips to make the construction more stiff. I know that there are a lot of mistakes but I'm pretty happy with the result.

New photos coming soon!

I've just reviwed all the tread and I must say that a lot of wonderful job is going on here Keep going so in the end we would have a really great Polish gallery.

Well, this campaign has certainly taken off well! Stunning builds too! Your little tank is coming along well, Bob. Radek, that PE for your Fokker is impeccable!

I decided to start a little bit on my wz. 34-II that I reviewed here. As you can see from that there will be a lot of work involved to get this thing up to speed. You will also notice from my pics...

I'm planning some updates from plastic card and PE sprue. Progress will be slow as my 1/48 scale and Sherman campaign projects have priority.

Cheers!
