Not actually armor, but I need help . My research shows that it had a radial aircraft engine from a YAK- 18 Trainer. My plan is to scratch build one in 1/35 th. scale. I need to ask does anyone make a model of this plane with the engine in say 1/32 scale? What if any would substitute for that model?. Or am I relegated to building my own? Any comments please.

Highway 70 and Richard-
I have never seen Lead Sleds version anywhere on line. Lead Sleds version is $108 plus shipping. Before I spent that I would need to see what I was getting.
Does anyone have a link to a review of any kind?
I have the AMG 1/35th scale kit which is styrene, white metal, and photo-etch. I got my copy through a vendor in the Ukraine for $38 US shipped!
Not a perfect kit but a starting point.
I reviewed it here:
http://www.modelarmour.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1040:amg-nkl-26-aerosan&catid=37:kits&Itemid=60
The Engine is a very prominent feature- and the white metal parts in the AMG kit do not meet my standard. However- the Yak Engine Trumpeter makes is pretty basic as well and 1/32nd scale.
The way to go is to scratch build one good cylinder and cast copies in resin just like the WW I modelers do with their aircraft.

The Trumpeter kit with engine is the Yak-18.
Here is a review with sprue shots of the engine-
http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/tru/kit_tru_2213.shtml
It is 1/32 scale which or something like this is forgivable- but the detail is not that great so why make the concession.
Shvetsov M-11 is what you need.
