Nice photos of extra nice entries
Rudi
(p.s. I really like the way you always frame each photo and include the event name and sometimes piece title when editing - totally OT to this post, but how do you do it?)

Great photos -thanks for starting with dioramas.
Is it me or is it becoming a trend where diorama's are not just 'full' of stuff but they seem to be becoming 'tighter', less space between components? Not a bad thing, just something I seem to be noticing.

Hi Rudi,
I use Photoshop's action system to do them. If they aren't customized per photo (like some of the SCAHMS reports in the past) then it's very speedy. The trick is to make a template file and then use "Place" to insert it over the modified/sized photo.
Glad you guys like the photos.
Cheers,
Jim

Yes - I believe you are seeing a trend, one of several that appear to be popular recently.

Hi Jim,
Thanks, great set of pics, and some awesome builds, lots of great dioramas, cool artillery and just excellent kits and workmanship.

Someone with Silicon Valley (or using their gallery) published this:

I have to say kudos as well because this is a LOT of work based on number of winners and categories, etc. Also I read on another site that it's in order 3rd, 2nd, 1st.
Cheers,
Jim

Ahh... yes that piece was very impressive. I wish I had bumped into Jim at the show. I actually saw Jim Lewis for about 2 minutes and assumed I would see him again (sorry Jim!) but didn't.
The photos of Jim's Stryker are on the last page (photos 6 & 7).

Cheers,
Jim
