This is a fun little build. Still have a ways to go,but its coming along fairly well. Again I had to do something a little different. :-)

I like it. I always like unusual kits like this, not your usual Panzers or Shermans.

Looks very good PvtP!
Are there any markings to be applied. Are those laterns on the back?

Nice kit! Good clean build too. I agree with the above, not enough WW1 stuff out there.

WW1 is a great subject for many miniature vignettes/dios and I love those old vehicles.
as a matter of fact I am currently working on a completely scratchbuilt diorama of the Taxis of the Marne of which in progress pictures can be seen here in my Yahoo photo album.
The figures are all scratchbuilt as well. The Renault taxis were used to mobilize 6000 soldiers of the French 6th Army to the front in the first Battle of the Marne of September 1914.
There will be four additional soldiers on the taxi (two on the running boards and two on the top) as well as citizens wishing the soldiers encouragement standing on the sidewalk of a typical Parisian street scene.
The challenge in scratch building the taxi was I had no plans but had to rely on obscure photos gleaned off of the Internet and did everything by eyeballing and trial and error. I am sure an archivist from Renault would find numerous faults in this rendition of the 1910 Renault AG but for the sake of the diorama it is accurate enough as I am really a figure painter primarily and not a vehicle modeler anyway.
