Anyone else having trouble loading the website? For some reason this evening it has been glacially slow loading up, and I frequently get "IE cannot display page" errors when I try to navigate within the site. Also, I get the IE display failure if I try to get to an Armorama article via Google. Other websites are fine, so I doubt it's my browser....
Is there work going on that might have scrambled the site? I'm using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7.

Seems to be fixed now.

Yeah we seem to be under heavy load from several factors. One the backup was still running and two the three major search engines had several hundred bots indexing the sites.
I also killed one Chinese scraping site.
Cheers,
Jim

Jim,
As long as it wasn't my computer, that's ok. (I hate having to fix this thing...)
By the way, what is "scraping" when it's at home?
Tom
PS: Should have added that it seems back to normal now...
