About sgtsauer
I began modelling around the age of 10. My first model kit was the U.S.S. Titanic. As I developed an interest in the military, I started building 1/72nd and 1/48th scale military aircraft. My interest then evolved into some 1/72nd scale armor. The first armor kits I built were 1/72nd scale Hasegawa kits. Around the age of 18 I started seriously building afv's and tanks. I joined the United States Army when I was 17 years old. I served about 3 years as a construction equipment operator, 10 years as a Combat Engineer and I have been a Supply Sergeant for the last 7 years. I spent 14 months(May 2003 to July 2004) in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Phase 1). I am currently a Sergeant First Class. I am married to a wonderful women who supports my styrene addiction with a loving heart but tight checkbook. My current modeling interest is very diverse. I am interested in US ships, US aircraft and armor/afv's from several countries spanning WWII through the modern era.
