For only building for 6 months your doing very well. The only thing I see off hnd is a little 2 much rust. I have seen in other threads that armor plate is welded with stainless steel rod meaning welds won't rust. Track will surface rust but it doesn't flow off like on the front plate. Minor issues that will develp as you gain expriance. Over all though very well done.

Yes, it does look like it's been sitting idle for a while. I don't think that's a fault, really.

As for stainless steel not rusting, well actually it does oxidize, it turns black. As for rust on the welds, while it is true the welds won't rust, the surrounding area will and this could tint the welds. Surface rust will flow down the armour plate from the additional tracks, but it's a sign of wet and cold weather (although it does rain, and sometimes snow, in Egypt) which would be unusual over this vehicle's service life.

All in all you did an excellent job Tolga, on a kit not all that easy to build (there's a lot of clean-up as I recall).

I work with a lot of metals, and Kevin is correct in what he's shared.

That aside your model looks really good. I can't tell if you used decals, dry transfers, or stencils for the insignias but they great. I can't see any carrier film or any other tell-tale signs, looks like they were painted right on there by a 1/35 crewman in decades past.

Thank you all for your couraging comments I think to build a Really good model you don't only have to build it well but also built it according to the conditions that the real vehicle has been into. From now on ı have to find good referances.thank you Thomas.

Kevin it was quite a challenge to built this kit for a rookie like me. There was some fitting problems as well as the clean ups. But ı'd like to built a cold war russian version of this kit also, but some time later.thank you Kevin.

Jeremy, the decals were satisfying,it also gave good reaction to decal solution, thank you Jeremy...

Great build, nice to see one of these beasts in different markings (other that russian.) The rust is a bit heavy, but I like the effect it has on the look machine. Thanks for sharing.

Great job on the model and the weathering! The Russians used the JS-III's as fixed emplacement tanks. So the heavy rusting etc would be very proper.
