A week or so ago, we ran a Report on a W.I.P. from Masterbox of the first of the company''s New 'theme' - Infantry in the Western Desert. Now, another set from the company - German Afrika Korps Infantry. However, that isn''t the end of the story. We''re also able to bring you news of four more sets in the same Theme. The Full report can be seen:

This going to be a cool set !
I particularly like the two running guys.
Why don't they also produce free french in the same series ? Bir Hackeim was also a great battle in the desert fight, French général Koenig against Rommel. Moreover, guys who fought there had very heterogeneous uniforms : legionnaires, fusilliers marins, tirailleurs sénégalais, even a battaillon from Tahiti. If Masterbox wants some uniforms information on that, I would be delighted to help them.
Best,
Julien

Terrific set of figures and I look forward to seeing the other sets in the series. If Masterbox want any help with British webbing I'd be delighted to put my references at their disposal.

I am over the moon to hear that finally, finally, there is going to be a CW heavy weapon set available. It's been long past overdue. In addition to the Vickers I really hope they include the 3" and 4.2" mortars.
Masterbox continue to impress.

Very cool indeed!
Julien-I like the idea of Free French Forces...I've always been interested in the French Forces especially the French Foreign Legion. If anyone has the guts to think "outside the box" it's Masterbox........no pun intended.

Excelleny news, there seems to be a good set of Allied and Axis action figuers in their plans. This terrific news and the possibililty of a Vickers and Crew has been so long over due, this will be a major addition to the Commonwealth troops.
Agree with Chris 4inch and 3inch mortars next please Can we add some medics/wounded troops to the list please
Hats off to them for these developemnts. - Simply steps ahead!

If you look on the masterbox website you'll notice there is also a hand to hand combat set in development featuring british and german soldiers in tropical dress. Looks great!

I agree with Chris and Alan...a Vickers is long overdue and hopefully we'll see a few versions on that theme...desert and NWE, early and late versions ( BEF maybe?)
3'' and 4.2'' mortars welcome but also 2'' would be great.
I thought with Miniarts latest figures they might work towards this first but I like Masterbox stuff too.
Nice
