I didnt like the last lot of clouding I done on lighting the panels so I re-done them looks much better now, just waiting on the maqutte indi track links it's got a turned barrel, I hollowed out the solid mesh and replaced it with some AA mesh screen and added 2 flap vents to give it some detail, just got to add some muddy stuff and washes/filters to it all comments welcome :-)

Looks good! Now let's put it to swim into the mood :-) About tha painting -- hm-m... The area under the transmission's compartment mesh can't be so white. At first -- nobody will put the cower open just for the paint white the flaps which are covered by the mesh. At the cecond -- it's the air outlet from the engine- and transmission compartment. So all the dust, mud and the oil which are in that volumes are flown out with the airflow. So all that area can't be white! Also a little bit about construction itself. That towing "eyelets" at the front hull's beam are the Tamiya's own "improvement" -- such a things newer present in reality. There were the small plates to hold the special device for the track's tension regulation (at the late production T-34-76 and all T-34-85) -- but they look different and theyr location differs. But any cause -- the good job! Best regards. Lis
thank lis, I've removed the towing eyelets as for the colouring I'll keep it as is just want to mess about with the different painting styles and maybe add a few figures to it cheers mike :-)

The second set of photos really do this justice, doesn't even look like the same tank.. Looks very good to me. One question, is that a hole in the right side below the turret? Is something missing there or is it just photo tricks?

If I'd had known grand kids were so much fun I'd have had them first.
