Penkala,
I'm just collecting ideas right now. Decisions will be made by the end of this year or early next year. We have a full year ahead of us before the Campaign starts so there's no need to rush right now. Next to that I don't want to bother the other Campaigns that will take place in the meantime.
About the decisions that have to be made, I would like to add that I will form a "Headquarters" in time. This way "The HQ" can support and guide the Campaign, since I think this Campaign will be BIG !

Eagle:
I like the idea of basing it off an actual photo, I'll probably have something in figures if this deal comes together. There's a great photo in a Time-Life book of a captured Brit more or less flipping off the camera man (before Johnny Cash made it cool to do so), could be a fun build in 1/35 or 120MM....

Most excellent idea Eagle dude!
I will definately take part in this campaign.
How about having the finishing date on the day it started, so all AC, AFVs, Dios and figures are ready, to diplay for the duration of the anniversary? Great to get this up and running now, thrash out all the details, everybody has time to search for info, get kits and really a good long campaign build time so all can be completeed. If you are a fast builder ... then its OK to go ahead and be finished ..... and have pics in a Campaign gallery!
Looking forward to this one!!

I like Plastics Idea, that's still more than a year away which gives lots of time to clear all the other we're all signed up for in other campaigns

A finishing date on september 17 in 2004...that sounds very good. I think I'll take this idea to start planning from. This long term planning also gives the opportunity to enter some larger objects for those who want to.
Who has got a catchy title for this Campaign ?

how abot using the historical words: "A bridge too far"....maybe "A model too far?" or "A diorama too far?".... because this campaign is probably going to be huge..

I think "A Diorama Too Far" is perfect.
