hi all
heres a couple of pic's of my current projects, this is the first time i've really had a go at ground work bases for a subject. i'd like comments and abit of feedback on them please.
the first project is a muddy base for an SDKFZ 11. a muddy track or route in the grasslands of russia.
the second is a small section of road with an enterance to a château. the enterance is from the MK35 kit, with an abandoned Grill ausf:M
more pic's are on my website, at the bottom of this page : http://neil22.weebly.com/workbench.html
there are also some pics of a small base i am working on with a tiger, to show the suspention more in use than just on a flat base.
cheers
neil

Hi Neil, none of the images are visible - only the "frames" can be seen.
(but perhaps this is my computer only)
Perhaps your kitmaker-space is full? It has only 10Mbytes, as I remember correctly, but my other storage-service also has some problems with my new photos.
What about the german 21cm Mörser 18 (the Trumpeter-mortar)?
Did you finished it?
At a "show" or exhibition I could be able to buy the both kits, the 17cm Kanone 18 and/or the 21cm Mörser 18, for a good price.
But, I didn´t bought none of these.
Both were "dreams" to build, but the barrel (delivered in these kits) could be not useful.
From RB Model I could get a metal-barrel for the 17cm gun, but it´s not easy to get this for me. (or, to find a good seller/shop in my country)
to your images:
The landscape looks good - also the wet mud-effect looks great!
greetings...

hi
thanks pat for pulling up the pictures.
thanks for the comments soeren. i have not yet finished weathering the 21cm morser. i am waiting to build it a base then will finish the weathering and chipping to match. i am probubly going to try and set it in italy, but not 100% sure yet.
i found the barrel in the kit not to bad, just needed a little careful sanding and filler down the join, but the finish was satifactury.
cheers
