...wow. Gotta tell ya, I thought it was looking a bit dodgy until you poured the clear water acrylic/stuff, then I was all over this! Then an acrylice coat, and frothy waves....brilliant.
Keep posting your project's evolution, it looks great.

Hi Holger,
I don't know how i missed that one but i found it now (thanks to Jon).
You really did a great job here (with a test version) and it's worth relooking at.
Well done!
Claude

Excellent work!! Much more ambitious than I would attempt... Just one question, why is it is Armorama and not Aeroscale?

Hi Holger.
I couldn´t work out from the first images how you were going to do this ... in fact I thought you made a mess of it .... until I saw the last images. Wow ... great effect. It really looks the part.

I'm sorry Holger, but this just isn't "historically accurate".
You see, the real plane in the original photo is sticking up out of the water almost at 90°, but yours is at more of an angle. The wave splash against the right wing should also be about 5 mm higher ............
Just kidding. It's a BRILLIANT piece of work. The water looks fantastic and if that's only a "test piece" I look forward toi seeing what you can do when you're doing it for real.
Thanks for sharing.

You did a great job!
Now the acrylic was it tub calk clear and white water base? The epoxy you used for the water two part name brand....gypsum with quartz sand? Was it joint compound with fine silca sand ...... Other than the wheels not being down and the flap issues it was well done..... I used just tub and tile caulk on a blue base high lighting with white and it came out good but nothing on grand scale of what you have done......great tutorial!
