A build for the Sherman campaign.A very nice and detailed kit,and for first time[ for me] i experienced salt technique to make a winter camo.

...and i have prepared 2 figures for a small vignette:

It's been a while since you've posted anything but you obviously haven't lost your talent. It turned out quite beautiful and you've really captured a well worn and filthy subject. The added details really jazz up the kit. I have one of these in the stash. Did you have any problems with construction? It could easily pass for a much larger scale. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks for your kind words,Jan!
"It's been a while since you've posted anything "-unfortunately i have a huge problem with my free time.Just work, and work and again work.

I had some problems with the bogies, but nothing serious.Otherwise I can only praise these small and detailed Shermans, real jewels in this scale.

Cheers,
Dani

Looks cool! May I offer two suggestions, however?

1) it seems that the chevron tracks are highlighted with a metallic color? Your tank has T-48 rubber chevron tracks and wouldn't have a metallic sheen on the track shoe. If I'm mistaken about your color, then ignore this.

2) You should alter the color of your tail lights. Only the upper oval lens of the left tail light was red. Below was a black rectangle and both right lenses were black rectangles. All US made vehicles had the same -- these were black out distance indicators.

Hope this helps

Dani,

That looks really good! What a super job on the winter white wash. I like the stowage, tarps and rope. And those figures not only look good but adds life and scale to your well detailed Sherman. Will you be posting any photos when you complete your dio with this tank?

Hi Dani,

Excellent job on the weathering, nicely finished model with the extra gear and crew. I just made one of the Dragon Shermans for the first time and was very impressed with the detail, they are really nice kits and worth trying out.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to the final result.

All the best,

Paul

Ouch...!!!! Very sorry to hear that, Dani. Is it repairable, did the Sherman survive? I think that we have all had something similar happen. I left a tank transporter on a low shelf and my six year old nephew thought that it would be fun to play with. By the time I found it, it was in more parts than were in the kit. Gave the child the remains and made his father pay for a new one.

Cheers,
Jan

It's looking great, I hope there wasn't too much damage done to it. I was wondering, does the stowage on the back of the Sherman come with the kit or is it custom made?

Jan,thanks,
the Sherman is ok ,only de base is "repainted" by my son.I bought some fast kits for him[IS-2,zis3 at gun,pak 40at gun],to make himself a diorama, and, my mistake,i forgot my small vignette on his dio. .He said he thought I needed help... .So, is not a problem, just i d'ont have time to do another vignette.Anyway my son will be a future members of this site.

Hi Vertigo and thanks!
The stowage from the back do not come with the kit. Some are from a M-20[Italeri kit], others made by me with modeling clay "DAS",and the rest are made from tissue paper.

Cheers,
Dani

Thanks Alexander!
My daughter was the first public enemy... six years ago he destroyed almost 15 Fujimi kits...of course with the help of the second public enemy.
But ,a month ago I found the solution to get rid of an enemy...a new and a "fierce"[
] dog:

Dani
