Thanks "Heavy" I'm getting there day by day. I'm working a little fast so I can get started on the mine plough.

That's looking phenomenal! I can totally understand why you're going to keep this one for yourself, although I must admit that it would make a fine reference for companies to build a production kit. But it would take the magic out of this top shelf build if it were for sale in shops. I'm still reeling from the level of accuracy and detail you're putting into this. Your scratch-building is among the best I've ever seen. Keep up the good work!!

Caveman, superb. Just completely blown away that you would even take a project like this on. And pardon me for saying so, as I know I am gonna hurt some feelings here, but I think that the ACTUAL vehicle is one of the ugliest I have ever seen. It makes this tankers heart hurt that someone could do that to one of our beloved tracks. BUT, Caveman, you have made it visually stunning to see in 1/35. Keep up the great work! Some of you guys are really inspiring to watch.

I still have some fit issuse but I will work it out. Now I'm going to have only one lid up. Unlike the first one built were that guy had both open.

More comming later.....

OK let me point out somthing I missed. The cross bars under the MIC-LIC contaners. Should be glued over the base chassis. I had to glue my cross bars right through the chassis because my back chassis is a little short.
In the photo the first MIC-LIC chassis is how you should look. the one in the rear is how I have to make mine.

At the bottom is that small box with the hydraulic pump and shock. Here's a closer look.

Here's were it's mounted!

I hope this helps.

Hi Captin. Not really my preferred era, but must admit this one lovely build. Great attention to details and a very clean build. Im always amazed at the level some of you guys can scratch at. Nice one.

Looking great. Good job on the plow mount. .I know you can make the plow just as nicely.
Don't forget to change out the .50 cal ammo can for an Abrams style mount and cut the spade grips off the .50 cal though.
Keep up the good work.

Yeah I plan on using a Photo-etch M1 ammo box and holder. An thinks for the hit about the 50 cal, I will cut off the hand grips. I have started build ing the plough's mounting plate and three lower mounting arms. Not the three Stability arms. Any way one I get some stuff fully built, I'll post my progress.

Man there was so much on the front of that plate, I had to study it for some time. An now is the time to build the full M1 ABV Mine Plough by Pearson Engineering.
Here's some of the parts fitted but not glued in place yet.

More to come....

Geez... this thing is an absolute beast! You do realize, however, that you're setting the bar so darn high with this build, few will ever dare follow
But seriously, it's an amazing job thus far. Simply amazing. Can't wait to see it all finished and with a coat of paint!
