Hey guys
Just to let you know that masterclub have released a few modern American, Israeli and German soldiers, apparently without much fanfare.
One US figure appears similar to a Nato in miniatures release: here
But apart from him the rest seem like new sculptings.
I can't find any press release about them so heres a link to one shop that stocks them. Also there seem to be a larger variety on Ebay if anyones interested.
Hope this useful news!

Thanks a lot. MC are doing an excellent job on their Russian/Soviet figures. It's good to see them turning to other countries.

These have been discussed to some extent already on the forum, see this topic:

The American figures fall below the mark in my view, the one with the cat and the M246 gunner look ok, but the others have odd equipment and arent really very accurate. Ive read on IDF In Scale forum that theres some problems with the IDF figures as well, such as incorrect uniforms and equipment. The Russians are the only ones which look good and should be very useful for loading on the back of a BTR. Overall the quality of these looks well below Masterclubs earlier efforts.

I agree. Those modern Russian figures were sculpted by Sergey Traviansky (now of Evolution Miniatures) and they are amazing. Most of the other MasterClub figures are far below these standards.
