Hello PanzerAlexander.
Your Famo look great. Very interesting with the Ätzparts.
Hope you post some more pictures of the model.
Is threre a tank for the Sd. Ah. 116? Or comes it without one?

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your post. Of course more pics will come.
Fortunately I just completed the move of my workshop to the basement of my new house, a task that I had been postponing for some time.
All I need is a couple more things to get back to my working bench.
P.S. No tank in this kit, I 'll just have to build one.
Stay well. P.A.

Hello everyone.
Construction is complete. I have begun applying the dot oil filter using the colors 4 colors. The dot filter really brings the model into life.

I hope you enjoy

HI
I like your Famo. Looks pretty good. The best is the grill. It makes a special front of the Famo. I think i use the ätzparts for trumpeters Famo too. A lot of details.
I´m waiting for new pic´s!

Hi Alexander,
The half track is looking fabulous. The colouring for a monotone vehicle looks extremely good. I have to admire what you did with the glass in the windows. What type of glue did use use to affix it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment guys.
The best way I've found to glue windows is 2 part epoxy glue .Extremely useful and probably the strongest.
I use two kinds, one that cures in 5 minutes and one that cures in 30.
Once cured, this glue is crystal clear and extra strong. Also I use it to make headlights by painting the inner lamp silver and filling the cavity with the glue.Because it's non reactive with paint I also use it to glue small parts (that wont survive the weathering process) on finished surfaces.
Today I finished the dot filter on the upper chassis. Next is some chipping on the upper body and oils on the lower.
Progress this far :

Hello Dani, it's the glow from the oils that give that look. It will probably diminish after I apply the final coat.
Since you brought it up, in the past years I have been always finishing my models with acrylic matt varnish that makes the model kinda ''flat'' once cured.
I am thinking of passing to a semi gloss finish from here and now on. The final result is just more lively.

Thanks Jay for taking the time to comment!
I have finished weathering the trailer and need some more work to complete the basic construction.
Progress this far :

I had a suitable base made. Just need to decide what stowage I'll place inside the famo and what the dio setting will be before I start working on the base.

ventually I'll make a small diorama out of this kit with a panzer loaded (thinking of a IV or a Stug) and some figs.
More soon

Alexander,
super job!
I vote for a "oops we ran over a land mine" damaged Stug, with some of the Stug's crew coming along for the ride. Plenty of fuel / water cans, tarps, boxes, buckets, tool boxes, chains, ropes, and personal gear with perhaps a pet dog / cat?

Hey Alexander.
Very very nice. I like your model. It´s a good build with an awesome
paint on it.
Looks very realistic to me.
I think the same as eddy. He has a good idia for the diorama.
Maybe it looks great if the vehicle stand in a little curve. That give it more live.
cheers Daniel

Happy new year everyone.
Daniel, Eddy thanks for the ideas. I decided to use a Dragon Stuh 42 for cargo that I built 2 years ago.
The idea I am working on is as the crew is making the preaparations to depart, so there will be activity around the vehicle and much stowage and stuff here and there. About 8-10 figures will be used (half of them will be the Stuh's crew).
Here is the progress :

I'm not a 1/72 guy ( accept on large aircraft ) but this looks great ! good detail and paint job ! you did such a good job on the Famo and trailer that the figures almost take away from it ? not sure why ? but the famo and trailer are superb work !

Hi
Great work from you.
Famo and trailer are fantastic work. Great coloring.
Fine groundwork and nice figures.
But some figures are smaller than 1:72?
1:76 maybe? They look smaller.
Greetings Daniel
