Can anyone tell me where in the US can I find the best and most reliable place to order Life Color paints from?

I know of a few shops in Europe but was wondering specifically about the US.

Thanks,

Rob

Nothing personal Dave but I'm still boycotting Greatmodels. I will never shop there again.
Rob, you can get Lifecolor here in the States at Sprue Brothers
or Red Frog Hobbies
Both are top rated vendors and very nice people.

You can also find the Lifecolor sets at Michigan Toy Soldier Co. They don't carry individual bottles, though.

Thanks very much for the feedback, guys!

Now, I did check some of the places you all referenced and only found they either offer the sets or a very small range of the individual bottles (Spruebros).

Am I to assume then that if I want individual bottles of those UA Mimetic colors in the 200 range (i.e. Dunkelgelb 204 or Schwarzgrau 207) my only choice would be a place like Airbrushes.com in the UK?

Thanks very much Jon but considering everything that has been recently posted about Tankrat in the various forums, I think I'll pass purchasing from there.

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get some of those individual bottles from the UK.

Thanks again,

Rob

check with Ken and Mary over at http://www.pacmodels.com/ I've been buying from them for 2 years now and I've never been with out any of the LC range... they keep a healthy stock.. and if not sure about the paints call them up.

They're Canadian so I can't speak for their international service, but their customer service is great.

Thanks, Chris! I was aware of pacmodels and actually ordered a couple of Lifecolor jars from them a couple of years ago but I found them to be a hit-and-miss when it came to actual availability and range of colors. Those UA Mimetic colors I mentioned above are never listed so, besides ordering some of the basic colors, I can't find much more.

Rob,
I wouldn't send any money to Tankrat's either. The stock of most US stores is hit and miss for the UA Mimetic colors, and most carry only the generic color line. The only two reliable stores that I have shopped with, that carry the entire UA Mimetic paint color line in individual bottles, are both across the pond:
Airbrushes.com
