With all that grate turet and hull detail, I wanted to build one as well. SO I got my hands on a cheap tamiya kit, of the T-62. So when the time comes I'm going to build the Tiran 6.
I know that there were not a lot of them used and when the IDf started using them the US came out with the M60 and the IDF went with them. An most of the left over T-62s' became achzarit APCs or were use as target practice.
So along with my build of an IDF early M4 Sherman, I want a tiran 6 as well.
So I'm saving some photos to help in tht build...

Well "BlackWater" I got my T-62 for $12.00 USD from my local hobby shop. That Trump kit is way to high. As for the tymiya kit not being just accurate, your right. That's why as a good scratch-builder it's up to me to make it accurate.
If a kit's easy where's the fun in that, i like a challenge. Some times a bad kit can help build your scratch building skills. That's if the kit is not to crappy.
Hay "Shanelangston" the more I sit here and mess with stuff on the hull and turret the more I like this kit. I going to scratch build the Centurion Shot Gun Barrel. I'm also looking for a good set of tracks.

Capt. Caveman,
I purchased the MasterClub T-54, T-55, T-62 (OMSh type) for mine. Haven't built them yet, but they seem to have great detail and I have read some really great reviews on them.

Well with "王健" work I hope you start a post on some of your work "Shane Langston". Once I get my two IFV and APCs done I'll start on my Tiran 6 project.

A really outstanding work Blackwater, i'm very impressed! You're a GREAT MODEL MASTER
It's just a little pity that the T55 trumpeter wheels are quite inaccurate ... , but anyway as I said that's a GREAT work
Regarding the T62 Tamiya converted in Tiran 6, I really undrestand the point of view of the people who has this old kit in the stash and want to use it for this built...
But, this old kit doesn''t have just details troubles...Actually it's rather wrong in dimensions and scale. In fact unfortunately it was made in a scale next to 1/32 rather than the correct 1/35
http://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/139315
In my personal opinion this is the worst flaw that a model could have...
So, just my two cents:
If I were you i'd like to buy a T-62 Trumpeter to made the Tiran-6 conversion
All in all the trumpeter kit is not so expensive
Cheers to all

Finally completed the production, though I did not change the trumpeter kit T55 serious error. Body is too high, the ratio is not accurate. But at least I am satisfied with the final result.
Hope you like

Hay Black have you ever use a number 2 pencil to give your chipped steel that slight shine., that you see on sthe edges of chiped steel, were things rub them.
Oh and your over all weathering is just "Fenomena"!
