I think this looks like a very interesting set and will certainly be picking it up. I think the Pole's look of defiance really helps sell it. Perhaps as a follow up a set with 1-2 Polish cavalary in action would be great, while they did not stupidly charge tanks they did run down german infantry while armed with modern firearms and that would be a lovely scene to model.

Thanks,
Matt

There is no doubt that MasterBox continues to produce some of the most interesting figure kits. I just picked up three 'CounterAttack' kits for the great detailing and the M1939 helmets. I would have preferred to see as many as were depicted on the boxart but that is a reason I will purchase many more. I certainly look forward to this Polish incident. I would love to see more Polish 1939 infantry figures. Keep' em coming!!!

I was wondering if there are any chances to see this set in the near future? Of course with all the improvements mentioned above.

Thank you, Mr. Alexander, for participating in this forum and for your willingness to listen to modelers.

Just a couple of suggestions / wishes..

# More modern figures from different nationalities

# Definitely more insurgent figure sets.. and modern "generic" civilian figures with regular clothes - pants, shirts, T-shirts and shoes - which could be used in a variety of different conflicts.

# Would it be feasible / reasonable to ask for an accessory set (like some resin manufacturers do) which contains heads, hands, boots, weapons and personal gear which could be used to convert other figures?

Keep up the great work you're doing

Hisham

Seconded! Definitly! More Civilians would be great in mine eyes since my focus is NATO/Cold War. For a proper "Germany, late 1980s" diorama one needs either protesters or children/teens climbing on the tank So far Civilians are mostly restricted to some Preiser sets that can be "dual used" but those have limits since they fit 1960s at nest. Modern versions of your Kit 3567 or some variants of your Mechanics (any nation) for the Cold War would be very welcome.

I am very disappointed to see, that MasterBox took so little effort in a background check for Polish Army... This is not some hidden secret knowlegde to know how did the uniform of an uhlan look like. It is so easy to show another model (after Dragon) of Polish defeat in 1939, not knowing the history if this campaign.

The main mistakes that can be seen in the pictures are:

1. A lack of rein in the horses bridle...

2. Uhlans picked hat - this is a hat that was used only for parades and every day garrison service. Since 1934 a field peaked hat was used, that was much lower and had no unit colours. In 1938 polish cavalry started using the french 1915 Adrian helmets and used them in September 1939... A HUGE MISTAKE!

3. Horses sadle - what is that? The shape and equipment packing is a sience fiction. Did anyone even see a real one? At least online?

4. Where is the rifle of the Uhlan? Nice to see he is using a saber only...

5. Where is the 1924 RSC gas mask?

6. Where is the uhlans haversack?

7. What saber is this? It looks like the officer 1921 saber, not the solider 1934 saber. What would a solider uhlan do with an officer's saber?

8. Where is the bayonet, which sould be on the left side?

Just a little effort would change a lot... But we get someting that seems to be a parade 1933 uhlan lacking a gun on a "sience fiction" saddle agains Germans War machine... God save us...

Pawel, are you a disgruntled ex-employee of MasterBox?

I think you're missing the forest by concentrating on the trees, no matter how right about 'a few little details' you might be, and that forest is that this is a superb subject and the gesture of the figures, not to mention the horse, is outstanding.

I have to admit I found the hat a bit odd, however if you're willing to tool an update for this set I'll be happy to purchase it when the product is released.

Otherwise, I guess I'll simply have to suffer.

I don't like master box any moore, ukrainian provocation.

Dear Piotr,

Of course, the plot of our kit can cause debates and can be seen fron different sides.

As you saw, the Polish Uhlan who is wounded very much tries to stand up and despite the wounds he tries to meet the enemy standing on his legs.

So we tried to create a symbol of Poland that was defeated but nevertheless it went on the fight and did not give up after having come through a lot of trials. Poland managed to create European independent state.

Best Regards,
Alexander Surzhenko,
Director
Master Box Ltd.

I propose to start maiking your's national heroes, maybe SS Galizien or maybe fall on Malmedy?

Actually, Verlinden beat MB to the punch on this one years ago with their Schwimmwagen riders. They are Galicia Division.

Some Croatian Ustache or Black Legion figures would be appreciated, however. Chetniks too.

Dear Julien,

You are right: the kits with German soldiers are sold better than others and we can not fail to take it into account. Nevertheless, 17 new kits are shown at our website in the section “in progress”. 5 from them are kits with German soldiers and there are 2 more where the German, British and Russian are present. Thus, it is 2:5 score in favour of the kits with soldiers of other countries and this is not a wish, this is reality.

Concerning heads – look, for example, at our kit 3563 “Counterattack”. There are 9 heads with faces of people with different age and different emotions for the kit consisting of 6 figures.

Regarding extension of time period of our stories – we work a lot at it, am I right?)))

Dear Darren Baker,

the idea to supply our kits with resin heads is unfortunately unrealizable. There are too different techniques that define a great difference in production paces, in other words, the resin production volumes will never be in time with the plastic production volumes.

Concerning idea to put more various heads in each kit – sometimes it is really reasonable to do so and we do so!)))

Thank you both
Alexander

Don't worry about the resin, just keep up the great work in plastic, yours is some of the best out there.
