Here are some in-progress shots of my Trumpeter Type 83. The kit is a great value as I got it for under 20 bucks and it includes a basic interior (actually a bit more than basic). Anyway, I cannot comment on the accuracy of the kit as I have little in the way of reference shots..especially of the interior.
My one complaint of the kit is the pretty large amount of injection pin marks on the interior of the model. I have filled and sanded the ones I think will be visible through the open hatches. There is also some flash present on some parts, but easily cleaned up. The fit has been good, and detail is nice, with lots of small bits. Also the instructions are nice and clear.
Plan on putting this bad boy on my Chinese Tank Transport. Yes, a large project indeed!

For what I can see from the pics, concerning the ejection pin marks, instead of filling them and sanding it could be easier to cover them with a layer of thin plasticard. The openings can be easily re-created with a sharp knife...

Is what you have modelled here so far, part of the "basic interior"? Man that is value for money, if so! Looking good so far. Would love to see the transported and this together! Looking great!

LOL....you're right, I guess it really isn't "basic". And at under twenty bucks...it is value for the money. The transport come chock full of engine detail as well. An idea is growing in my mind of having the transport, which is trying to recover the tank, having engine problems as well. Just so that I can show off both engine detail.
Scoccia, thanks for the advice on the sheet plastic. I just ran out and got some real thing stuff. Good oppurtunity to try a new technique.
