Hello!!!

Just wanted to show you my latest project. A Dragon 1/72 scale Panzer IV.

I've painted the yellow base with Vallejo and the cammo is done with artist oils.

There's still a lot to be done and I'm currently testing some ideas for the story of the diorama.

If the ideas work out more pictures will come soon...

Hope you like it so far.

Cheers

Sven-Åke

Hello Sven,

Nice build, Dragon's Pz IV series must be currently the most advanced in thiscategory. How was the fitting ?
I'd also like to know which code from Vallejo you use as base for the dungelgelb.
Your Pz looks very well weathered and I like the contrast of the colors.
You have a talent of setting up nice stories with few pieces and little space and I hope that this one wil follow this rule too.

Thanks Alexander!

The yellow basecoat was a mix of many different colors like gold yellow and skin and a few others that I can't remember but since I mixed it on the fly I never made any notes of it...

Yes hopefully this will follow the rule too as you say, we will see

Thanks!!!

Hello Sven

I like your model. It´s a great build. Like your others befor.
You hav a nice way to build and paint your models in a realistic style.
Exactly the same with your diorama groundwork. Hope we can see a lot of new pictures of your work soon.

Excellent work, you guys who can work in the small scales (I've tried but the parts are just too small) and produce work like that I have to take my hat off too, outstanding work.

Sven-Åke,

I like your Panzer IV Ausf F1. The camouflage blends in nicely with the ground work. Excellent usage of colors.

Hello...

Greta Model Dio you show us here. With nice painted figures. Maybe you can

show us some more pictures from the figurs only a little bit closer. Is the animal

modelling or have you buy it? Looks very good, too.

The paint on the tank looks a little darker on this images. because of the camera?

Or have you cange something?

Have you some detail pics? Like them from your panzer III desert dio?

Wish you a nice sunday!!!

Hello Daniel!

I'm experimenting a bit with different light setups while I take the pictures to find out which works best with this particular model, no changes to the model itself...

Glad you still like it

They are from Elheim and the horse is from Valdemar...

I have also been using two figures from AB which are quite nice.

Cheers

Hi

Very nice!!!

Last 2 Figures make it round!

The "334" on the Tank! Is it a dry rubbing decal? Or from dragon-kit?

Simply a great effort here, Sven-Åke.
Your Pz IV is a real inspiration, love the beatup look with out being over done. The figures make the scene come alive and finishes off the vignette nicely. I always qualify a great model when I want to see pictures closer up and your diffidently falls into that category.

I'm just stepping back into this great hobby and I've never tried armor in 1:72, but I may just give them a try. The small foot print on the book shelf is a real positive for these little beasts plus the different vehicles that aren't available in 1:35

Welcome back to the hobby Bruce!

I can truly recommend 1/72 scale both because as you say the space saving issue but also the cost which is quite low camparing to 1/35.

I'm really glad that you like my efforts with this little dio, big thanks!!!

Cheers
