Hi Nelson
You did a nice build indeed.
I like a lot the metal casting surfaces and paint work
In my humble opinion there's only one isuue in your KV1
You putted the seams on the sides:
actually on the real tank you can see a deep panel line in that zone
Anyway, great work indeed.
Congrats
Cheers

Nelson, Great job on that KV. I like all the progress photos but a little narration with what techniques you used as you went along would help. I like what you did with the bottom seems was that putty mixed with lacquer and then brushed for texture.

Actually Nelson, that a nice build and weathering job. The white wash looks good. It appears to be laid on a bit thick though ... I see some cracks in it ... hopefully this doesn´t fall off later!!

I really like the look of this KV. I'm in the middle of my first whitewash job. My question is: Is the glossy coat on top of the Soviet Green Future or is it hairspray? I'm trying to decide if I should coat it with Future and then hairspray or just go with hairspray over the basecoat. Looking at other threads, it seems like people have done it both ways, which of course was exactly not what I wanted to hear.
Nelson, how did you get your finish?
