About ltb073
As a child I built mostly autos and truck models and what ever came from the Revell Model of the month club. Later on I switched to military planes in jr. high school. When I started to work several jobs and didn't have the time to build. I completely left the hobby around 1982. In 2008 I got back into modeling due to a broken leg. My job puts you under house arrest when you are out sick. So in order to ward off boredom I started building Military Armor for 5 weeks. I re-injured the leg in February 2010 and broke out the kits that I didn't finished. While doing internet research for them I found this site. I now find the hobby to be very relaxing as I am trying to de-stress my life. I model for enjoyment and not for museum quality, and because my skills are of not that level. I build what is in the kit out of the box. This hobby is to help me relax and not get stressed that a rivet is not in the proper place or that a uniform color is slightly off. This site is a source of enjoyment for me and to see what and how other guy do and to learn from them, to hopefully improve my modeling skills, which I think I have because of the help that I have received from the great guys on this site.
