Hi tom,
A very interesting seen, I liked the idea of the British and the Arabs in the same place buying-selling. Did you buy or make the fruit and houses?
Just a few comments, the jerry cans on the SAS jeep should have three handles not two. The trucks and stones need some weight, and you might want to add some foot prints and tire tracks. I live in a desert and I can tell you that a place with a lot of people gets very uneven.

All in all a really good idea, I liked the contrast of colors and I also liked the figures a lot, The weathering is also very nice. It is a very nice diorama.
Regards

Dimitris,
Very nice job here I really like it, Are the building scratch or kits? How many and what brand kits did you use and how big is the base?

Yo Dimitris,
Awsome setting! What an effort! Nice story and very nice color build up.
Fine how you work the house from miniart into the other houses.
Overall a very good job on such a large diorama...
From witch brand are the Arab figies???
Next time a build blog here

I won't be original by saying that this diorama is really nice !
The colors give a lot of eye attraction, there is a lot of interactio between the figure, and out of 1 miniart buildings, you really made a very coherent architectural set. Did you used refernce pictures ? If so would you mind sharing a bit or your reference used for market and civil life at such time ?
Best regards and congrats
Julien

I like this one a lot. It is very busy and keeps the eye wandering all around it looking for little details here and there. To me the arrangement of the buildings and vehicles is very good. The various bright colors is a welcome change from so much olive drab and browns that we see in most dios. So there is a small mistake every here and there...........so what..........every dio has little mistakes. Thank you for sharing this very nice dio with us...................... ....................Al

Hi Dimitris,
Excellent work, you've pit a lot of time and effort into this one and it shows. It's great to see some vivid colours which really help bring the scene to life.
A good mix of traders and activity. The only figure that doesn't work for me is the driver sitting in the jeep. I think if you put a standing figure around there being approached by an Arab seller it would work better. Also an Arab Seller reaching up to the chap on top of the Chevy would link him more to the scene.
This is really excellent work, thanks for sharing, a real gem.
Cheers
