.
The leg joints I designed on my CAD program and them I made them on my 3D printer.
What program did you use? Rhino, Maya, Autocad...or something else?
Did you use a stereolithography 3d printer didn't you?
Perhaps you're an industrial designer like me.(... unluckily i don't have a 3d printer. But in my city I know someone who can do that for me)
Anyway, i'm REALLY impressed and speechless
Your model is INCREDIBLE OUTSTANDING!! CONGRATS!!
Mostly than a build story It could be interesting reading here on Armorama a little treatment about the new computer aided technologies applied to kit modelling...after all nowadays there's no only resin casting
Thanks a lot for sharing
Congrats again
Cheers

Well done. The proportions look great. Lots of little details stuck in there without looking overdone. And I think the spaced armor really sets off the look.

I was very impressed with this model from your first set of pictures, and was REALLY impressed when I saw the additional images . . . I can almost hear the whine of the servos and the crunch of the footfalls . . .

redraider, I'm looking at your model quite for some time. It has already its own folder in my pc.
Most of things and thoughts were said.
From my point of view, is quite a piece of scratch building and a real paint job.
Bottom line, the best walker I ever seen until now.
Way to go, Terry !

I really, really like this one. I started working on my 1/35 Gunther Walker from Dust and it seems this would be a perfect Allied counterpart to it. very nice work and it meshes very well into a complete design.

Those DUST walkers are way cool, and I was thinking the same thing when I saw this build. This would be the perfect companion for that M2-W Mickey
