For those interested in the Legend detailing set.. Luckymodel is selling it for $8.99 and free shipping.

As for the "GoodYeap" thing.. I don't think it's such a major problem. I guess they did that to get around paying for copy rights and all that.

Hi Guys,
I have the complete Legends Humvee crew on the way which I may regret.I already had the driver which i am trying to use on the Bronco. He sat far too high and I've trimmed so much off that I will have to keep his door closed. It's too late to lower the seats.Just a heads up to anyone like me thinking they are the perfect addition to this kit.

I noted that issue on the Legends figures from the get-go. They look great in the box but are not suitable for installing in the seats.

Seems like a very basic thing they missed. For the life of me, I don't understand why the people that design these figure don't just simply create them with the seat molded into the figure. That way you could have the crewmember sitting IN the seat instead of floating ON TOP of it.

Very good point John,
I recieved the full crew set last night and when looking at the box photo I noticed that the seat on the Humvee is attached directly to the floor. The Bronco kit has a piece between the floor and the seat, which is much more realistic. If you leave that part out, the Legends figures will probably be the correct hieght. The only problem then is to trim off some of the side pockets and part of his butt so they actually fit INTO the seat.Which brings us back to your post.I'll try it on the next build.
Cheers

Hi,
Just a quick update.
I'm about an hour away from totally finishing the Humvee.I made the mistake of of using the Legends gunner and being stubborn, most of my time this week was working on him.Once again,a nice figure, but a really bad fit.For my Humvee I need the machine gun for the version and the right arm that should hold the grip handle stuck out to almost the barrel. With all the equipment on him he doesn't fit well in the turret. After shaving the back down to the point that any more would just leave me with a torso,he's been glued in.arm is still a little long but not too noticeable for the people who see my models. The grenade laucher may not be so bad???

Basically it should be said for anyone who see's this that the Legends figures do not fit this kit at all.

The only way to make the figure fit is to do the following mods:
-Leave off the interior roof cladding (this is optional on actual vehicles anyway)
-Leave off the seat bases (parts B18 & B19) but this would make the seats inaccurate
-Shave off a significant portion of the Bronco figures lower bodies

I tried to fit the gunner as well and hes just totally unusable, unless you cut off his feet and hid the lack of feet with stowage or something. Out of the box he stands with pretty much all of his torso above the turret sides.

I also tried to fit Nemrod's crew figures and they fit a little better but still need some modification to the seats.

I am yet to determine whether this issue is due to dimensional issues with the Bronco kit or problems with the figures. Im inclined to say its the kit.

Hi Rob,
I think your probably right that it's the kit,but the problem is not it's accuracey, but maybe the Legends figures were only designed to fit their interior before Bronco realeased this kit.Anyway,in the long run ,it may be an idea for the actual manufacturer to release crew sets that fit their product with the kits.To me it just seems as a logical marketing move.Extra$$$$.And extra add on sales.

非常好的工作,黄他! 现在为真正地重要问题多久做它采取您绘在那些图的伪装? 您是否有关于怎样的任何技巧做它?

(Very nice work, Huang He!
Now for the really important question- how long did it take you to paint the camouflage on those figures? Do you have any tips on how to do it?)

Looks like Bronco kit 35092 incorporates the interior and Frag 5 kit issues, in addition to the "missing" antennae. Here is a look at the box art, which shows the Duke just barely:

I haven't seen a build review yet.

I don't think it'll be as nice as yours, though!
