Hi!
very nice job here!I love the weathering,it's also cool to see the swampers under the M1114!
it's not bad,it has very nice details and also the fit is really good...maybe not the tamiya standard but it's a really good kit.
Cheers

A really beautiful looking model.. you did great work all around.. including the figures!
Which wheels did you use? They don't look like any of the wheel sets I've seen around.

Super Swamper tires are quite rarely seen in pics (AFAIK they were sometime fitted to SF Humvees) but you should not see them fitted to US military Humvees nowadays :

HuangHe,
Very nice work. I especially like the figure with the German Shepard. Can you give some detail on what paints you used on the M1114 and how you weathered it?

I am getting back into the hobby again slowly since I moved and was trying to get some inspiration and I think you just did that for me in this 1/35 Bronco M1114 .At least in my option would be award winning model. Thank You and I was wondering what figures did you use. I might do mine in a check point dio.
Happy Modeling

Great Humvee HuangHe. And the Legend figures look excellent also. Nice job on the ACU pattern

Personally I think the Bronco surpasses the Tamiya kits....

I agree with the others --- it would be great to hear about your painting and weathering techniques!
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for enjoy this work. My English is not good. So I can't explain why Bronco M1114 is not so wonderful. this model has many fatal flaws: The worst thing is the tires. Goodyear in the tires is Goodyeap. R type P is difficult to amend. The tire shape and tread pattern are wrong. Seat height seems to be a problem, maybe too high, together with details of the internal roof, I simply would fit two Legend driver figures. I fit them In the modified. There are many issues like this. So i feel this model is not so wonderful. Although it may be the latest.
Super Swamper tires not use on military Humvees. But I am here only MIG parts and bronco original parts. MIG's Humvee tires is too poor. I used Pro Art Models Super Swamper tires, Belgium Production. General quality.

HuangHe,
you did a great job and if one considers the Bronco kit is not a perfect kit, you did it justice.
The paint job is particularly excellent.
Are the doors of the kit moveable or did you modify the hinges to enable them to move?

Very nicely done HuangHe. The tyres may not be strictly accurate but to me they give the Hummer an aggresive and suitably weighty appearance. The painting and weathering is spot-on aswell- a well maintained vehicle but still dirty from operations. And the figures are top notch aswell, a very convincing ACU pattern.
Great job.

Hi Huang
since the marking of the tyres are nearly not visible when you look a real weathered tyre , i suggest to sand it from the Bronco tyre.
The kit is perhaps not perfect (Tamiya's T55 no more), but it's a good kit.
BtW you did a great looking models and your photos are just perfects.

Wonderful job. Just one question - should the gunner have that CVC helmet or a regular kevlar? Don't recall seeing pictures of humvee crewmembers with the CVC helmets but could be wrong.
Either way, it is great job!

Hi HuangHe. Im not really into modern armor, so the detail misses go over my head, but I must say this is a beautiful stand alone model. The figures, painting and weathering are really well done. Nice one.

Looks like the figure in the turret is this Legend figure... which is an AFV crewman. I didn't realize it couldn't be used with a Humvee either!

Yes, the gunner would be more appropriate wearing a Kevlar. CVCs are used by HMMWV crews, but they are not that common. Most HMMWVs do not have the intercom system that uses the CVC installed.
I agree that the Bronco HMMWV is very nice and probably better than the Tamiya one. All the shortcomings of the Bronco M1114 are minor and pretty easy to fix in my opinion.

Most of the issues can be fixed by the new
Legend M1114 Detailing Set (#1218). It is pretty cheap too. I have one on the way off eBay for $16 including shipping.
