Thanks for the pics!

Is there anybody that has the AUS M1A1 decals?

cheers

Echelon makes a set of Aussie M1A1 Aim decals and Mouse House out of Australia makes as Aussie M1A1 AIM conversion set.

The Echelon Decals are for the Aussie Abrams when they first arrived in Tan, they will not work for the tri-colored Abrams. You can get the conversion from Mouse House Enterprises or directly from Jason Miller at Arms Corps Models (Send me a PM if you want his email).

Wonder if Lawrence Goh From Echelon would put out a new set for the tri-colored Abrams? Do you think it's worth approaching either of these guys about the idea?

I have another Dragon M1A2 SEP kit and ACM Conversion set ready to build another one of these bad boys... just waiting on decals. Now I just need my AFV Club M88A2 kit and Legend Conversion/Upgrade kit to arrive....

Cheers!

Thanks for the info, definately on the to do list!

cheers

Well after 2 days of deep thought and 1 very fuzzy image from google which was enough to jolt my slow memory I now have the first name for M88A2 207-102.

'OUT ON BAIL'

This was it's name from 2007-2008 when it was changed to 'BILLY' then changed again in late 2009 to 'BABA TUNDE'

Hi all,

I hear your call. The Aussie M1 set will be reprinted in the near future. It is not that difficult to figure out the exact font used, all I need is the exact dimensions of the different sized lettlers... For example, 88C is the largest, "ARSCHGESICHT" used a smaller sized font. Vehicle registration is the middle sized. If we can have the WxH of each of these, it wouldn't be too difficult to crank out a set. Also, I noticed a great number of small on vehicle stencils...if I can have the complete details, plus the WxH... Not to worry, noted on the darker tan alphanumerics...

Mitchell, could you please PM me for more details?

P/S: This year I hope to clear a number of backlogs (so hang on tight, folks)....

Hi James,

I took a heap of photos at an open day for Ex Talisman Sabre 2 years ago. The photos are on the Aussie Modeller International forum. Here's a link to the walkarounds section,

Thanks Ben, I've been using your walkaround as well, two references are better than one!.

Thanks,
