Hi there!
I want to share some pics of a little diorama I made, depicting a US Infantry Squad moving along in a street of Gela during Operation Husky, 1943.
I loosely based my diorama on the next photo:
I used the Dragon Gen2 US set with some posture modifications (the jeep gunner) and converted the kneeling GI into a medic. The jeep is the wonderful Tamiya kit. The lamp is a modified one from the Tamiya set, and a little puppy from the spare box (I guess it is Tamiya).
The houses are scratch, made from balsa wood, cork, and wall spackle. The tiles are made from plastic straws.
Hope you enjoy it.

Hi there. The street and the sidewalk are made from cork, painted with acrylics, previously sealed with Z10 from Sherwin Williams.
Cheers,
Pablo
