Hi guys, this is the Nitto ZbV 3000 Panzer Aufkalarung T.W-47, which is like real cool. I am going to do it in Ambush pattern. Have fun. I guess I completed the circle here, Ship, Plane, armor, figures, now sci-fi. LOL
By the way, this is dedicated to my good buddy Warlock. LOL.

Have fun with the Sci Fi thingy.

For the Barbarossa Campaign Dave?
Clean build so far. I see some mold seams in the second picture but nothing too bad. This will look good in the ambush pattern

Dave,
I picked up a couple of these kits at a show last year. How are they to build? Lots of cleanup and putty needed? Look pretty neat, though, with springs, hoses, bolts etc........

Hi Ron,
It's a great kit. the fitting is quite well, the only problem I had so far is the turret, it has 4 slabs, and somehow is hard to line them up, hence the putty work, but other than that, it's good fit model that is similar to an tamiya.
It's a fun project.

Lord Sci Fi:
Agreed Dave--you've made the circle, you are now a "Jedi Model Master" lol.
Even though its covered in these pics, you might want to share your technique on how you modeled the spotlight on this beast. From chat, I thought the technique used was impressive, as others might.

Looks good so far. The fit problem of the turret sides has always been there.. even when it was first released in '84. One thing though.. You will break off the antenne on the side and maybe the 'roll' bars on the sides. The antenna falls off if you look at it funny.
When you build the chassis and legs, you may want to think about gluing them together as the ankles are really weak and don't support the weight well. This will cause it to tip backwards and wreck the rear rollbar (which you replaced with copper wire right??)
Can't wait to see more pics as you progress.
