Ok, got that old DML premium Ausf A off the shelf and almost done.
Finished it as one of the 12th SS Panzer division that faced the Canadians after D-day.
Alright you jackals, tear it to pieces!

Its not nearly as shiny and clean as in the pics. Still have to add balkenkreuz to both sides, probably painted on and much small detail painting . Hope you like.

Well done so far! Zimmeret squares look a little pronounced but could just be me. Some nice worn tracks and lots of hedgerow boucage stuck all over it and you'll have a winner!
Cheers!

Thanks Dylan.
Rick, the zimm is a little heavy. The photos make it seem more pronounced than it is but still. In my hurry to spray it I forgot to sand it down. Ah well, best way to learn is to do it wrong once, eh?
Just happy to get it off the shelf and closer to the display.
Thanks for looking.

Other thoughts...

The 2 smaller 'exhaust pipe' looking pipes on either side of the main one were cooling pipes, and typically wouldn't be as rusted/worn as the center one, due to much less heat.

I see some grass and muck stuck under the right side, but nothing stuck in the wheels, drive sprocket, etc.

Nice overall.

Thanks Jesse, I still have to finish weathering the exhaust so shouldn't be a problem to add some flaked paint on those. Good to know about those though.
The wheels will still get some clods of turf etc working on a busted road wheel as well.
thanks for looking.
