Hello,
here is my small scale Cromwell that is now painted once. As you can see?, it's way too dark so I have to try to lighten it.

Hello,
thanks for suggestion. I've been thinking of adding helmets and such but I'm running a bit low on resources . Anyway, Bren will be added turret roof and hopefully some other stuff.

Welcome Niko!

Your Cromwell is building up very nicely!
Which kit is this? Are the tracks from the kit or aftermarket stuff?
I´ve got a Hasegawa 1:72 Cromwell back home but it surely doesn´t look like this!
If you have already attached the tracks, then I wish you good luck and patience when painting them...

Cheers,
Toni

Hello,
yes I had Eduard's PE tracks for it but those were way too thin so waste of money there... I am halfway building tracks and yes, painting will be quite problematic. Wheels were recast with holes...
Oh, model is Revell's and I'd say it's a copy of Tamiya's excellent big brother.
Now I have to find some extra gear for it to make it look busier

Hello,
I've updated pics in
http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/nikoaspo/lst?&.dir=/Cromwell&.src=ph&.view=t&start=1&.rand=91121124203
I lightened it a bit and remade periscope hatches. Hatches were cast from one master and look much better than Eduard's PE set hatches.

Cheers,
Niko
P.S. Can anyone tell about ident. stars in Cromwell? Do those HAVE to be in turret roof?

Niko

This Cromwell starts to look really good.
I like the way how you lighten it as far as I can see it now.. Maybe you could make some close ups that would even show it better I think.
I like the detail of the missing muddguard on the left great job.
As what is been said before some stuff on the back of the tank would make it more alive, things like rucksacks, tentrolls etc.
About the Star on the roof.......... I`m not such of an Allied armor expert but I believe I have seen Cromwells with these big stars on the roofs
I found this pic on the net

But there were two other Cromwells that didn`t had them on the roof

Anyway nice looking vehicle
