Comex is charging $42.99 for the kit, not $34.99 as indicated in the review.
Good discussion of the kit going on here:

Nice kit, & good review. Who would have thought we'd see one of these in styrene?

The upper hull is also lacking the trim vane mount where the air-assisted cylinder was located to raise and lower the trim vane.
Part A2 step 13. It is there.

Hi guys,
I'm new in terms of posting but have been reading for quite some time.
I noted this kit at my LHS in Toronto - $31.95 - So I'm surprised it's being sold for $42.99 in Edmonton. Maybe it costs more to ship there?
I also noted that the description provided by Trumpeter on the side of their box (and on their site) is gleaned directly - verbatim I believe - from the Canadian Forces website
Cheers,
Dave

This kit is good value for $42.99. At $31, its a steal. This is not your Trumpeter kit of 5-10 years ago. Details are sharper, fit is better. There's a OTB build thread on Armorama already, a white UNPROFOR kit. Looks nice.

There was a price mix up when I picked my Cougar kit up for the review.

Gents, let's not hijack the thread with Canadian LHS prices, if you please. Let's talk about the kit and its review.

Well, it is relevant when it's mentioned IN the review what the price was, and as Anthony mentioned it was priced incorrectly. There are a few of us here who got it from that particular store and wondered what he had to do to get that deal
It's a discussion, right?

The discussion should be about the review, which so far has been mostly overlooked. The price was mentioned, but has become the tail wagging the dog.
Prices vary all over the landscape, both real and virtual, and can shift daily.
Let's move on, please.
