Hello
I have the 'Two Axle Pilot Car' assembled, and have started on the paintjob. I can see I need to tweak some of the brake assemblies a bit, one is too far off the rail wheel.
I have put a Roden Opel Blitz Bus on it to give an idea of its size, its quite a long wagon. I have seen early war photos of this wagon type carrying 2 light tanks of the T-26 variety. The wagon could take a load up to 20 tonnes.
The bus won't stay on the wagon, I'll probably mount an AA gun on it
I'll post more pictures as the paint job progresses
cheers
Neil

Nice progress Fred and nylyall keep it up guys
@ Nylyall I love that Opel bus to bad no one makes it in 1/35
I made some progress on my track bed. I cut the sides off the center and glued that onto a wood and Styrofoam base. I then covered the Styrofoam with wall Spackle and then added the rock ballast to that
I have one side complete now and hope to get to the other side tomorrow

All,
Nice work on everyones projects.
Looking at the various builds makes me feel like I've made sod all progress

, yep I'm still slowly marking out and cutting the multitude of bits for my build (about 70 done just another 300 to go

).

Taking a few weeks off work so hopefully there might be some progress to the extent it might even resemble a train

.
Hope everyones projects are going as planned.

,first 12 pieces slapped together

.

Nice work Rodger, I can tell its starting to look like a loco
I have made some progress as well, my Panzertragerwagen and 38-T are finished except for a dusty wash and I added some dirt to the sides of the track bed

I am also still working on the figures, I think I will need a few more

Found all of these guys in the spare parts box

Sal: looks great. The painting of the ties looks very good.
Small progress on my flatbed. The tracks and ties are only in the railbed for alignment, as I don't intend to use the railbed itself. Now to start working on the "load".

Happy Modelling, -zon

No new pic's, but rest assured, it's coming together slowwwwwllllyy. So much stuff to do with the two buildings and all. Had to re-do the crane utility car as it was too big for the section of track that was left for it. Other than that, the gantry crane scratch build is really taking alot of time, and glue, and styrene, and patiance. Hope to have some new pic's next week for you to see and critique. Oh, and the computer took a dump again ( to the library I go ) so I have to figure out how to download on a memory chip or what ever those things are.

I do hope there is another Military Railroad Campaign soon or within the next year! This one has had so many really cool builds and fine examples too.
I just had too many things going on to join.

My build has frozen totally, too much everything else in life disturbing right now..

work, son's soccerteam, WoT. I know, there's not too much reference pics about my subject but still I've managed to gather too much stress and pressure for the final result. 7 months to go but I still fear this will end up unfinished campaign..

Seven months left? Nah, I better not try it.
I'll just wait for the next Campaign like this. This has been a very interesting one to say the least and I want to build a Military Railroad vehicle soon!!
