Hi everyone, and thanks for sharing your great entries to this campaign. I have been thinking about what to model for this campaign for a long time, and have almost started a Dragon gondola and a WWI feldbahn steam locomotive, but yesterday I found a very nice model in my local model railroad shop:
The model of a German flatcar comes from Roco and the car is loaded with two very nice models of Krupp Protze trucks. The models are in 1:87 scale and relatively detailed for that scale. However, I think adding a lot of detail, heavy weathering and crew to both the flatcar and the trucks could make it into a tiny diorama. I hope that is acceptable for this campaing?

Wow, beautiful build, Marcin. Well done.
Thanks for the comment, Zon. A little progress On the camouflage. I added another color and then touched up the green, so the brown and green are intertwined instead of one color on top of the other. Looks pretty cool in my humble opinion

A little more progress on my artilleriewagen. The details are painted and the decals on. Since these artilleriewagens served for a short time in 1944 and obviously never went of road I will keep the weathering light.
The base will be left partly undone as I want make this part of a larger railway set later and not know how the railroad will run and how the Diorama will look.
Next is a very light weathering and it is done.

Thanks for the comment, Sal. I agree with you, a little bit of color and contrast often really makes the camouflage stand out.

Jesper, that Artilleriewagen looks great!
I've just finished painting and detailing my first entry to this great campain, a tiny rolling diorama in 1:87 scale.
The two Krupp Protze trucks are quite small in 1:87 scale, but contain almost as many details as the old Tamiya in 1:35 scale above.
I also completed a new diorama base for the car. More images of the car, the trucks and the base are on my blog, The Modelling Room:

Another set back. Dogs decided to romp/fight and bumped into my cabinet. Well the resulting shock wave toppled a coffee can full of plastruc and it decided to take a plunge. You guessed it, right atop of the radio directional finding tower on top of the building. Well, I might be able to add some more battle damage, dam dogs must just hate Germans or something. The hard part now, empty the cabinet and move large dio to get to knocked off stuff behind cabinet. If it isn't one thing or another. Well, at least the loco and rolling stock didn't get damaged. Now, where did I put my tacky glue.

Nice work Jesper & Marcin. Good to see some progress in this campaign.

I've had some progress also with my project on it's rocky road. Just haven't take any pics yet, I'll just try to push it to finish in time.

Hey Jesper, All's repairable, thanks. I know the dio won't be done for the campaign but at least I'll get the loco done.Am working on the interior wash now and then glue on the back of the cab. Next up, exterior add ons and paint. So progress is going, slowly but surely. Your paint job came out very well I'll say. Nice soft look to it. I really have to get some different tips for the Badger and try it out one of these days. Makes a world of difference from the brush. If I get 1/2 the results like youre's I'll be real happy.

Thanks for the comment, Bob. I wanted it to make it a "clean" build, but after looking at it for a couple of weeks decided it was too clean. So I have actually applied a couple of washes and some streaking. Makes a big difference, but not know how obvious in photos. I will post a couple of before and after shots later this week.

Thanks for the positive comments.
I think that this model has been the one I have least enjoyed making. Don't know why but no enthusiasm for it hence the amount of time it has taken to complete.
Cheers
Keith
