Green color for yugoslavian vehicles (or non repainted vehicles of ex.yugoslavian countrys) is revell's 362 or Humbrol 168 Which represents the Yugoslavian SMB color,or vallejo model air 71013, 71033 i 71046 in 1:1:1 ratio's.
I am refering to this color:

I hope someone will find this helpful!

Well, Sven, this is very useful for me, thanks a milion
I've been building a JNA t-55 and I 've been looking for the right pale green color.
I did some chip comparison and in my opinion is very close to Lifecolor grau RLM 02
But anyway, I think I'm going to try your Vallejo model air recipe. They doesn't need dilution, so it could very useful using them vith my airbrush

Cheers, thanks again

Well Sven, I've been trying to reprodece this T55 exemplar

I think you've already know. The pic was taken at the beginning of slovenian war on the 3th july 1991. The jna tank is entering in Slovenia passing trough a cork field

This is my build so far

The most difficult think about JNA T-55 is that they are mostly polish T55. Tamiya kit represent (with some mistakes) a russian version. I didn't want to do a huge conversion work so I was looking for a russian one.
Well finally I found it

At the moment I'm having a break in jna t55 construction 'cause I'm building a czech T55 C1 Favorit, but i think I'll restart to build it soon

cheers

Thanks for your kind words Sven
Is a Polish snorkel. Tamiya kit has just the russian snorkel but Jna t55s used to carry the polish one, so I had to scratch build it

Jna T 55 equipments are a mess indeed. In reference pics you can find polish version stowages and snorkels mounted on russian versions.

For people who can't use anything else but Tamiya colors, I've heard that the best way to reproduce the Jna pale green is

XF22 RLM Gray

http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tam/tam81722.htm

In my opinion is a little bit darker than the real color, but anyway that's what I knew

cheers

Tamiya XF-73 D.Green / JGSDF is a much better match.

I don't know Tony, may be you're right but It seems to me a bit darker and maybe a bit too "green" benhat the original color, but to be honest I've never tried it, so actually I can't value it correctly. I'll buy a bottle to try, thanks for the advice

Anyway, looking at the references pics, it seems noticeable that Jna tanks have different color shades

sometime they look painted in a dark Gray-green color...

sometime they look more gray than green...

sometime they appear painted in pale green

Of course, diferences depend also on the pic quality and on the light conditions, but probably standard colors were not strictly respected by yugoslav army.

Regards

Yes,color of Yugoslavian tanks did vary from gray green to pale green, there is no standard, its best to check references for a specific tank!

Thanks a lot Sven for the info!!!
One question:
Did the same colour existed in the Serbian Army???
I'm planing on building a Serbian T-55, during the Kossovo war. Should I paint it with the Revell 362???

Andrea-yes all Slovenian,Croatian and JNA M-84 were painted SMB. If you are located somewhere near Trieste you should visit the Pivka war history museum in Slovenia, they have 2 original M-84 (One JNA (Plain SMB and one Slovenian Camo)
I was there a month before here are few pics of the M-84 (taken with a cellphone)

Orestis-From my head-YES,but to be 100% i have to check.

Im looking forward to seeing both builds

Kind regards,Sven.

Hello Orestis, sorry for the delay,i checked.

Yes,you can use revell 362 for that job .

Many, many thanks Sven!!!!
No delay at all!!!!
As far as I can see from the link, it's a straight forward build...
But Im' thinking of a tank been hit by a bomb or a missile...
I've found some photos but anything more it would be more than welcome!!!!
