Hello to everyone in the Israeli vehicle Forum,
I'm posting here photos of my version of an IDF halftrack which is from the Six Day war era 1967-70. The model is the old Tamiya M3A2 Halftrack in 1/35th scale. When I started this model, the Dragon kit had not yet been released, so it tells you how long this project has dragged out. The basic build is simple, the detailing to convert to a typical IDF track is not too complicated. Some artisitic license was involved. The markings are hand painted. The figures are 1/32 Airfix Multi pose Marines and British 8th army. They were cut up and surgically reassembled to get the many poses I required to fill the cargo area of the Halftrack. Here you can see my efforts. I still have just a couple more details to add like the whip antennae which I save until last so I don't poke it into my eye. Hope you enjoy my effort.

Super job! I have this same project well down the 'to do' list. Great job on the figures. Maybe tie or glue the tracks to the idler wheel as they both seem to be floating a little.
Thanks for sharing!

Very nice work converting the kit. I have been planning a similar project for some time but haven't been brave enough to dive in. You've inspired me. Thanks,

Cool model! Some suggestions about your tail lights however. Only the top oval lens was red. The rectangle below it was black as were the two rectangles of the right tail light.
Hope this helps
