I freehanded a MERDC scheme on Tamiya's old M2 Bradley, and need advice. I was long gone from the military by the time this camo was used and have no idea if I got it right. Anyone with service during this time frame chime in please.
For the record, I used Tamiya acrylics thinned with their laquer thinner. Colors are Desert Tan cut with white, JGSDF Green cut with Dunkelgelb, Buff and white, and Black with a dab of Panzer Gray.
Painted the basecoat with my old Badger 155, and freehanded the patterns with a new Badger Renegade Velocity.

Does this make my Bradley look fat?

Thank You Gents for the input!

Looks fine to me, that pattern was used at the same time that Bradley came into use.

Hi,
The camo looks right to me as I remember it from the Balkans in the 90's. The 1/Cav Bradleys there were quite dusty/muddy due to the ground conditions so some weathering would be spot on!

I remember "guarding" these with a baseball bat when they were brand new at BCT at Harmony Church in '82. The ratios and colors look pretty close to me, as well as the crows' feet. Testor's Field Drab is a spot on match for the brown when it's new, but it does fade after time.

Looks right to me, but I'm Canadian.
